We, SEE TRANSIT Schiffahrts- und Speditionsgesellschaft mbH, transport all kinds of economic goods across the seas and the waterways of Europe. The additions "forwarders" to our name shows clearly our extended scope of services. We also organise feeder transports and connecting transports with other carriers.

Innovative strategies and many decades of experience gaines in Rhine and sea shipping and forwarding have brought us a large number of renowed and satisfied customers. The large groups of the European steel industry, coal and other bulk shippers are among them as well as the producers of forest products and general cargo.

Our concept is formed by the central importance of the river Rhine due to ist connection to the open sea and the realization that it is getting a more and more important field of the economy to provide a lowprice transport of all kinds of good an schedule.

We maintain liner services from Duisburg to the East and West coast of Great Britain, France, Spain and Portugal as well as to the Baltic Sea and to Russia. Our MV "CONRO TRADER" has even travelled from Duisburg to Turkey and to the Persian Gulf. During the last 10 years we have, for instance, shipped more than 1.000.000 tonnes of large steel-pipes via Bremen and Dunkirk to the East coast of Scotland, to Norway, Portugal, Ireland and Spain. In these countries the steelpipes were layed as natural gas lines in the North Sea and in the Atlantic Ocean.

Due to the continuously improved seaworthiness of our ships which are always equipped according to the state of current technology and the resulting extensions of our routes we are nowadays in a position to ship your goods to ports of destination within Europe which have so far been classed as difficult to approach.

One of our principles is to scheduale at least ane of our own ships for every size of tonnage. It is a challenge for us to look for transport solutions for the most unusual goods, and we are always pleased to take upthis challenge with success.
